An introduction.

Hey there, thanks for reading! I'm Ashley Brown, and I love theater. Every show I see leaves me with racing thoughts that I usually share with the first person I find to listen to me until they can't take it anymore, so I decided to start a theatrical review blog to get those thoughts out in writing. My background is tech-focused which means that you WILL read my thoughts on the sound design and prop choices go together.

I'm based in Pittsburgh, PA, working full-time as a higher education professional and part-time at whatever theater will take me in as a director, stage manager, production photographer, and social media person. My favorite directing credits are Deathrap by Ira Levin and Six Characters in Search of an Author by Luigi Pirandello (you may gather from this that I love anything meta). When I'm not working on a production or attending a show, you'll find me at the movies, playing video games, reading, or at a baseball game (go Bucs!).
